Upcoming Fundraiser – Kickoff on Monday!

We are excited to offer a way to give back to Adams Middle School!  On Monday, October 18th we will be kicking off our fall fundraiser to help benefit our students and staff. Our STEP IT UP fundraiser, more specifically, will help with kick-starting clubs, class trips, classroom resources and student incentives.

It is going to be AWESOME; and we are excited to get started!

A few things to note:

  • This fundraiser will be very easy for you. It only requires about 10 minutes of your time.
  • Your students can earn great prizes, just for their effort. No money required!
  • This is an online, donation-based fundraiser, and the donation requests can go to people you know anywhere in the world. That means, no direct pressure on your shoulders.

Students will be bringing home more information next week after our Launch Party Assembly. Please help your student register and complete the Golden Ticket assignment THAT VERY NIGHT! All students who complete the Golden Ticket assignment will receive fun PRIZES and it does not require any money to register. We will also be doing some fun drawings for an Apple iPad and 4 Mini Party Fridges stuffed with CASH!

We will be sending a few more emails throughout the two-week fundraising period. Please contact me directly if you have any questions.  Thank you in advance for your support!

Learning at Adams

Check out some of the learning and work at Adams this week!  Neolithic comic strips, students exploring and studying farming regions and the Fertile Crescent and abstract sculptures with paint designs are featured below.

Student Vaccinations

We need all of our students up to date on their vaccination status by October 25, 2021 as required by the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services.  If your child is not up to date, you will be receiving a letter and a consent form to be completed and returned if you would like our onsite Beaumont Clinic to give your student their necessary vaccine(s) during the school day.  You may also elect to take your child to his or her doctor for this.

Thank you for protecting our school community!

If your child is sick, please keep him or her home.  We ask that you complete the daily health screener found here each and every day.  If your child displays any of these symptoms please do not send him or her to school.  If you are sending your child to school sick, others are impacted and in some cases being required to quarantine.

If your child is pending a COVID test result, please do NOT send him or her to school.  Also, ALL students must wear a mask properly.  Masks must cover the mouth and nose at all times.  Please send your child to school with a mask daily.

Please report any positive COVID cases or close contact cases to the office as soon as you are made aware.

School Expectations

Please continue to review expectations with your student.  We focus on being safe, respectful and responsible at Adams.  Also remind your student that we are an off and away for the day school and we do not permit cell phone use at any time.  Each student has his or her own locker to lock phones in if they bring it to school.
