Scheduling Appointments with Staff/Chain of Command

If at any time you need to meet with Mrs. Sheppard or myself, you must call ahead and schedule an appointment.  We typically are unable to schedule any appointments before 8:30 am or between 2:15 pm – 3:15 pm.  As much as we would like to be able to meet with you when you drop in, we are most often not able to immediately stop what we are doing.  We ask that you treat us the same as you would your doctor’s office or other office that is by appointment only.

We also ask that when there is an academic concern or other issue you need to address, please follow the chain of command outlined below.  When following this chain, only move on to the next step if the issue is not resolved, and please do not skip steps in the process.

Step One – Teacher

Step Two – Counselor

Step Three – Administration

Step Four – Central Office

If your child is pending a COVID test result, please do NOT send him or her to school.  Also, ALL students must wear a mask properly.  Masks must cover the mouth and nose at all times.  Please send your child to school with a mask daily.

Please report any positive COVID cases or close contact cases to the office as soon as you are made aware.

School Expectations

Please continue to review expectations with your student.  We focus on being safe, respectful and responsible at Adams.  Also remind your student that we are an off and away for the day school and we do not permit cell phone use at any time.  Each student has his or her own locker to lock phones in if they bring it to school.
